The short film Prelude was written as a prologue to the book The Scent of You I Love, a collection of short stories with "scent" as its motif.
With images by Kyotaro Hayashi, a dialogue by Chisai Hasebe, and performances by Natsuko and Raiku, the film depicts an evening in the lives of a man and a woman working in a flower shop.
Flower arrangements by Yasutaka Ochi.
Further films based on short stories from the book The Scent of You I Love are planned for the future.
